Ten years ago, when I was hired by the Postal Service, my only “plan” was to get through one day at a time.  It must have been a pretty good plan because it’s still working and so am I.

My involvement with Branch 3 was the result of spending my PTF time in a 100% Union station and seeing, first-hand, the power we have when we stand together.  Going to Union meetings was not only encouraged, it was expected.  And, it’s hard to go to meetings and NOT get involved; there is always something to be done, more to accomplish.

I joined the Fellowship Committee because they needed more hands and I figured, even if all I ever did was sell tickets, lug coolers of ice and clean up after an event, I was doing something to help. I was asked to join the Newspaper Committee when I teasingly told the Editor, Gary Marzolf that he needed to get a spell-checker. When Gary retired from carrying mail, he also stepped down from his Editor position and I was appointed to fill the remainder of his term.  I have been privileged to hold that position for nearly 6 years.

I have been newly assigned the duties of updating this webpage.

In my “other” life, I have been married to Jack, another active Branch 3 member, for twenty years and am the very proud mother of three terrific teenagers, Sean, Courtney and Ryan.
