Executive Vice-President

First and foremost I would like to say how proud I am to serve Branch 3 as your Executive Vice President.  I hold the position in high esteem and will do my very best to serve one of the first, and most importantly, the best branch in the nation.

I grew up on the East side of Buffalo and I am the oldest of 13 children.  I attended St. Matthew’s grammar school before attending St. Joseph’s for my high school years.  I went on to higher education at Canisius College where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

This is now my fifth term as Executive Vice-President of Branch 3. I started my career in the post office as a City Carrier on May 20, 1978. My career in the postal community began after numerous appointments as a Postal Assistant at the Air Mail Facility and appointments as a casual in the Carrier, Clerk and Mail Handler Crafts. My involvement in the Union came early is my career when I became “assistant Steward”.  This entailed going to the meetings that the Regular Steward couldn’t attend.  Eventually the Steward job at Station “C” became mine in the early 80’s. I held the Steward position at Station “C” through most of the 80’s and the early 90’s. I was then appointed a Trustee by then, President Kaczmarczyk. Under President Kaczmarczyk I worked extensively on route adjustments and route inspections.

My wife, Kathleen, and I reside in Cheektowaga, and have three children.  Our two boys, Benjamin and Nicholas, live in Norfolk, Va. and have just recently started to venture into the restaurant business. Lastly, I have one daughter, Katelyn, who is currently a senior at SUNY Geneseo pursing her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
