When I started at Northside Station almost 10 years ago, someone said to me "hey, come to the union meeting." Since we all know that be the "new kid on the block" at the office stinks, I decided to go and try to meet some other carriers. Now after being an officer for the last 5 years, I can only say that I don't think I ever expected to become this involved, but here I am. (Although somehow I ended up here at Williamsville Station.)

Most of you have probably seen me at one place or another. Either with the Food Drive, the Fellowship Committee, or with the Safety Mentor Team. I say it all the time, this is OUR BRANCH, and I think we each should be as involved as we can. We have a lot of resources at our disposal, a lot of very intelligent people heading up the Executive Board, and a great group of people we call "brothers and sisters." I can only give my advice that you come out and join us at either a union meeting or one of our functions and GET INVOLVED.
